Omschrijving
Aan de orde komt het ontwikkelen van applicaties voor het .NET platform met Visual Basic.NET versie 7.0. Hierbij worden de syntax, types, classes, flow control en event specifications van Visual Basic.NET behandeld en komt de structuur van Visual Basic .NET applicaties ter sprake. Ook wordt aandacht besteed aan de architectuur van .NET en de concepten en nieuwe features van het .NET Framework. Verschillende applicatie typen in .NET passeren de revu, zoals Windows en Web Forms applicaties en verder is er aandacht voor Web Services. Ook database benadering met ADO.NET is een onderwerp. Tenslotte staat het uitrollen van Visual Basic.NET applicaties en het converten van oude Visual Basic applicaties op het programma. Deze cursus is onderdeel van de MCAD Visual Basic.NET Academy.
